A familiar face returns to the state of hockey.
Defenceman Cameron Crotty was claimed by the Minnesota Wild on Thursday after being placed on waivers by the Ottawa Senators.
The fourth-year player has struggled for playing time throughout his time in the NHL, appearing in just 11 games while bouncing around three different teams.
Crotty previously had a stint with the Wild in 2024-2025 but was limited to one appearance.
He took the ice three times for the Senators this season but has yet to record a point.
The Wild sit atop the Central Division at 14-9-3 and will look to keep rolling when they host the New York Islanders on Thursday.
