Status report
Minnesota held an optional morning skate.
Shabanov, who missed a 2-1 loss at the Calgary Flames on Thursday, participated in the skate, but coach John Hynes did not know if the forward would be available.
Defenseman Daemon Hunt was placed on waivers Friday and was claimed by the Nashville Predators.
McCann, a forward, is being evaluated for an injury sustained in a 5-3 win against the Utah Mammoth on Thursday.
Nyman was recalled from Coachella Valley of the American Hockey League on Saturday, but it is unclear if the forward will play; Kraken coach Lane Lambert said there are other “game-time decisions” that will impact whether Nyman is in the lineup.
