The Ottawa Senators have their captain back.

Thomas Chabot will return to the lineup Thursday against the Los Angeles Kings, head coach Travis Green told reporters after morning skate.

Fellow blue-liner Carter Yakemchuk will be a healthy scratch, while Warren Foegele will miss an extended period after leaving Tuesday's game against the Vegas Golden Knights.

Chabot has been out since suffering an upper-body injury against the Philadelphia Flyers on Oct. 18.

The 29-year-old was named the 11th captain in Senators history ahead of the season (and became the first francophone to wear the'C' in Ottawa), replacing Brady Tkachuk, who was traded to the Florida Panthers.
