The Ottawa Senators are down a forward.
Winger Andre Burakovsky left Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Kings due to a lower-body injury, the team announced.
Burakovsky, 31, logged 4:54 of ice time, putting one shot on goal before he was ruled out for the remainder of the contest midway through the second period.
While it's unclear when or how exactly the injury occurred, Burakovsky was seen battling along the boards before briefly slipping onto the ice prior to his exit.
The 13-year NHL vet is in his first season with the Senators and had made seven appearances entering Thursday. Burakovsky owned a minus-two rating through 83:09 of ice time to go with four blocks and three hits in that span.
