The Philadelphia Flyers just got a little thinner on the blue line.

Defenceman Rasmus Ristolainen is out approximately two weeks after re-aggravating a left hand injury, the team announced on Monday.

Ristolainen, 31, missed nine game with the ailment before returning Saturday in a 5-4 loss against the Anaheim Ducks and playing 14:34.

However, the veteran Finnish blue-liner re-injured his hand in the contest, per head coach Rick Tocchet.

Ristolainen has one goal in just four appearances this season.

The Flyers (3-7-3), who had won three straight games prior to Saturday, return to action Tuesday against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
