Status report

Mintyukov was placed on injured reserve Friday. Coach Joel Quenneville had said Thursday, after Mintyukov didn’t play in a 4-1 loss at the New Jersey Devils, that the defenseman is considered day to day.

Mitchell was recalled from San Diego of the American Hockey League on Friday but it's unclear if the defenseman will play.

Ristolainen could return after missing nine games because of an upper-body injury. He was a full participant at practice Friday.

York, who has missed the past seven games, practiced Friday but coach Rick Tocchet wasn't sure if the defenseman would be available.
