The New Jersey Devils are bringing in a pair of high-profile names to complete their player development staff.
Jessica Campbell has been hired as manager of player development and Bryan McCabe as vice president of prospect personnel and assistant general manager, Devils general manager Sunny Mehta announced Wednesday.
The two will oversee New Jersey's prospect development and serve as a resource for its AHL club in Utica.
They are set to report to assistant GM Braden Birch, who joined Mehta from the Florida Panthers.
Campbell spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach with the Seattle Kraken before stepping down from the role on April 30. She became the first full-time female assistant coach in NHL history when she was hired in July 2022.
Before joining the NHL ranks with the Kraken, Campbell served as an assistant coach with AHL Coachella and the Nürnberg Ice Tigers in Germany.
McCabe, meanwhile, joins the Devils after spending 14 seasons in various player development roles with the Panthers following his 15-year NHL career. He was last the director of player personnel with the Panthers and helped the team win consecutive Stanley Cup titles in 2024 and 2025.
On the ice, McCabe played with the New York Islanders, Vancouver Canucks, Chicago Blackhawks, Toronto Maple Leafs, New York Rangers and Panthers. Over 1,135 career games, the left-shot blue-liner amassed 528 points and received down-ballot Norris votes in four separate seasons.
