The Boston Bruins will have a captain when the season begins on September 29.
Don Sweeney and Marco Sturm talked yesterday, and Sweeney got right to the point: The Bruins will name a captain before opening night. We know the two frontrunners, as do Sweeney and the front office, but that’s about all we know.
Sweeney and Sturm also talked about James Hagens, Pavel Zacha, the 10 defensemen, and the two young players looking to make the move from Providence to Boston.
