We are in the depths of the NHL offseason, with just 65 days until the Boston Bruins host the New York Rangers on September 29.
It’s Sunday, and Boston Hockey Now’s prospect week has concluded. The Bruins have not made a move since early July, aside from some off-the-ice changes, so we dove into some prospects to keep an eye on, as well as the pipeline of goaltenders the Bruins have in their system.
In other league news, a potential trade is coming out of Columbus. The Blue Jackets are reportedly close to moving forward Kirill Marchenko. The new Devils’ GM had high praise for Jack Hughes, saying his future is not a concern in the Devils’ front office.
He cannot speak about Quinn, but the pressure is not on New Jersey in that regard.
