Cole Sillinger of the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday became the 15th and final player to sign a contract with his respective team after filing for salary arbitration on July 5.
The 23-year-old forward signed a three-year, $13.875 million contract (average annual value $4.625 million). He had 33 points (eight goals, 25 assists) in 81 games for the Blue Jackets last season.
Forward Alex Jefferies reportedly signed a one-year, two-way contract with the New York Islanders on Friday to avoid a hearing.
Salary arbitration hearings were scheduled to be held through Aug. 1. Each of the 15 players could sign a contract with his current team any time before his hearing.
No teams elected for salary arbitration this offseason.
Ottawa Senators forward Xavier Bourgault avoided an arbitration hearing by signing a one-year contract on July 9, and Buffalo Sabres forward Peyton Krebs (four years) and New York Rangers defenseman Braden Schneider (one year) each avoided a hearing by signing on July 13.
Pittsburgh Penguins forward Nicholas Robertson (two year contract) signed July 14, and the Winnipeg Jets signed forward Cole Perfetti to a six-year contract on July 15.
Forward Trevor Zegras avoided a hearing by signing a four-year contract with the Flyers on July 15 and defenseman Jamie Drysdale did the same by signing a four-year contract with Philadelphia on July 17.
The Montreal Canadiens signed forward Kirby Dach to a one-year contract July 16, the same day the Blues signed forward Connor McMichael to a six-year deal.
Dallas Stars forward Jason Robertson signed a one-year, $12 million contract on July 21 to avoid a hearing.
Columbus Blue Jackets goalie Jet Greaves (three years) and Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Ronan Seeley (one-year) each avoided a hearing by signing on July 23.
Florida Panthers goalie Akira Schmid signed a two-year contract on July 24 to avoid a hearing.
Last offseason, 11 restricted free agents filed for salary arbitration and two others had team-elected arbitration. Each of the 13 players signed before his scheduled hearing.
